A beacon of hope for Seema and Lado Kalandi

In 2015, Seema and Lado Kalandi’s lives took a heartbreaking turn. Their father passed away due to liver failure, leaving their mother to care for them alone. With no stable income, their mother worked as a laborer at construction sites. We adopted them when Seema was just 5 years old, and little Lado was only 3.

We saw their need for support. We adopted them into our care and began sponsoring their education. Both Seema and Lado were enrolled in a good school nearby, where they could learn and grow in an English medium CBSE board institution.

Over the years, we’ve provided for their healthcare, nutrition, and other essential needs, ensuring that they are healthy and well taken care of. During festivals, we make sure they receive gifts to celebrate these special moments like any other child should. It’s not just about financial support—we’ve made sure they feel truly cared for in all aspects of their lives.

Seema has successfully passed her 10th grade, a huge milestone for her and a proud moment for all of us. Watching her grow and achieve this while continuing to support Lado has been a reminder of the power of giving, and of what it means to be a beacon of hope when someone needs it most.
